Bares, John

Dr. John Bares received his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon in 1991. After joining the faculty at CMU, Bares also worked on multiple field robotics projects, including Dante II. He later became the Director of the National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC) in 1997, a position he held until 2010.
