Ambler (Robot)
Ambler is the result of a project to develop an autonomous planetary rover, capable of traversing rough terrain. It was a six-legged walking robot with orthogonal legs, an overlapping gait, and a laser range-finder for vision. Ambler's legs were all the same size, making it easier for the system to plan where to place its next step.
