Reddy, D. Raj (Dabbala Raj), 1937-

Dr. Raj Reddy is the Moza Bint Nasser University Professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon. Reddy joined the faculty in 1969 and became the first-ever director of the Robotics Institute on its founding in 1979, leading it for the next 12 years. Reddy was involved in a number of major research projects with the Robotics Institute, including the Autonomous Land Vehicle Project and advancements in voice computing.
