Robotics Institute Photograph Collection

Carnegie Mellon University launched the Robotics Institute in 1979, making it the first robotics department at a university. The Robotics Institute Photograph Collection contains images collected by the Robotics Institute to document research and activities throughout its history. Most photographs are original 35mm slides, now available digitally, and primarily used for marketing purposes.
