Jodi Forlizzi Collection

Dr. Jodi Forlizzi is the Herbert A. Simon Professor in Computer Science and Human-Computer Interaction Institute, and the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Forlizzi’s work includes the design of assistive robots, incorporating a collaborative approach with the School of Design, among others. The materials in the collection relate to the multiple robotics projects she has worked on at CMU, including Snackbot, the Nursebot project, The Hug, and HERB. The collection contains various robotics artifacts, prototypes, digital photographs, and video files documenting the design process.
